"I am passionate about treating OCD and the whole spectrum of Anxiety Disorders. I also love the teaching aspect of the supervisory relationship with provisionally licensed clinicians. As an ERP specialist who has been practicing for over 15 years, I want to offer candidates the opportunity to develop and/or sharpen their skills as a specialist in Exposure & Response Prevention for the treatment of OCD and Anxiety Disorders."
--Mark Gorzkowski, Brookside Clinical Services, Clinical Director
While this position would focus more on the clinician developing a clinical area of expertise in OCD and Anxiety treatment, the clinician would also work with clients struggling with other clinical issues.
This position is structured exactly the same as the Clinical Therapist (Part-Time) position described below, and offers the same benefits for Full-time employees once their case load grows to that level. The main difference with this position is that it offers an OCD/Anxiety specialty "track" for learning how to treat clients using ERP. Along with offering the required State of Illinois clinical supervision for provisionally licensed clinicians, supervision would also focus on developing ERP skills. An additional CEU stipend would be offered for attending events/workshops focused on ERP treatment (e.g. Behavioral Therapy Training Institute, International OCD Foundation trainings, etc.).

Brookside Clinical Services LLC is an outpatient counseling practice that has been providing mental health counseling services to the Chicagoland area since 2017. Our practice is different than many other counseling practices, as we are very intentional about employing a very limited number of staff members with unique clinical experience and areas of specialization. We focus on what matters most to our patients: providing personalized evidence-based mental health treatment, building trusting relationships, and fostering long-term personal growth and development. Our staff members enjoy a work environment centered on team support, a healthy balance between autonomy and supervision, encouragement to grow professionally, and an appreciation for work-life balance.
We are currently hiring a Part-Time Clinical Therapist to join the practice. In-person and telehealth sessions may be offered to clients in accordance with government, insurance, and organizational policies and regulations. As a part-time therapist, applicants should expect a gradual increase in case load and maintain an average case load of around 10-15 weekly patient sessions at capacity. This position has the potential to evolve into a full-time position based on organizational needs, at which point additional benefits would be offered. Please be aware that this is not a work-from-home position—all clinical duties and responsibilities must be performed on-site.
